INDIGO GOING TO SEED We harvested our crop and put the indigo in buckets of water before the first frost of the season. The flowers will eventually mature in water to bare seed for next year.
STORING OUR DRIED INDIGO I sewed and silkscreen printed bags to store the dried indigo until we compost in the Spring. October 2009

FROST BITE The night after we transplanted all of our indigo, we had a frost! About half of the plants looked like goners but are now coming back stronger than ever. You can see the regrowth at the bottom of each in the picture above. And check out those blues - just like heaven!! Their resilience is so inspiring to me - it makes me love indigo even more.
TICK TICK You can now find our indigo being sold at Tick Tick's cart on Church Street in Burlington!! Graham Keegan and his Tick Tick cart pictured above.
